This page explains what Gravichart collects and why. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, and it describes what we actually do.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
When you submit the waitlist form we store the name, email address, business name, and website you enter, along with anything you choose to tell us about what you make, how many SKUs you carry, where you sell, and your current production planning challenges.
We also store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. We use it only to limit how many submissions can come from one source in an hour. The original address is never stored and the hash cannot be reversed back into it.
What we do with it
We use it to send you a confirmation email, to decide who to invite as we open the product to a small first group, and to understand who Gravichart is useful for. That's all.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list or a newsletter.
Waitlist confirmations and product email are sent through Resend, an email delivery provider. Your email address is processed by Resend in order to deliver those messages.
Analytics
This site records basic, aggregate visit statistics — pages viewed, referring site, approximate region — through the analytics built into our hosting platform. This is used to understand whether the site is reaching the right people. It does not build a profile of you across other websites.
Where data is stored
Waitlist submissions are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the United States. Access is restricted to the Gravichart application and its operator.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until the product launches publicly or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.
Your choices
Email hello@gravichart.com and ask, and we will remove your waitlist entry. You do not need to give a reason, and we'll confirm when it's done.
Customer data
If you become a Gravichart customer, your business data — products, recipes, inventory, suppliers, and anything read from a connected store — is separate from the above and is covered by the terms you'll agree to at that point. Platform integrations request read-only access and never write to your store.
Changes
If this page changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. If the change affects people already on the waitlist, we'll email them.
